Ford was a member of the Warren Commission, who latter became President. He leaked information about the Commission to the FBI. While he was President he created the Rockefeller Commission to look into illegal CIA activities. He apointed Nelson Rockefeller (who was a close associate of John McCloy) as Chairman and David Belin as Director. Belin had been an assistant counsel on the Warren Commission.
